Golfing In Myrtle Beach Baby
Written by admin on October 30, 2009
I’m going to be heading off to Myrtle Beach here in a few weeks for the Thanksgiving holiday (be jealous) with a good buddy of mine who won two free rounds of golf at a local resort. Sadly, it didn’t come with accomidations…so, we’re going to be looking for a myrtle beach hotel deal which should hopefully keep the cost of the trip down for us. Either way, I’m totally excited! I’ve never been…but I hear it’s amazing!

Grandma Needs Some Compression Socks
Written by admin on October 30, 2009
Well, if you know my Grandma, you know that she’s always asking me to find things for her on the internet and today is no different. Last evening she gave me a call after watching the nightly news and told me she wanted me to look into getting her some compression socks. Now, in all honesty, I have little idea of what these are at the time and while she tried to explain to me what they were and how they worked, I figured I’d just have better luck looking on the internet…lol.
Anyway, after I did a small amount of digging and going through reviews, I found that discountsurgical.com is really an industry leader when it comes to not only compression socks, but pretty much any type of surgical product you’d ever want. And in all honesty, much like the compression socks, they sell a variety of “surgical” items that really aren’t surgical items. For example, while these compression socks are very important for patients after surgery as they prevent blood clots, they’re also really effective items to stop ladies (and even men) from getting varicose veins, etc.
So, I told her I’d ship her a couple boxes when I found what she wanted…so, looks like we’re all set!

Email Marketing Blog
Written by admin on October 30, 2009
You know, one thing I’ve always wanted to do was be able to have a successful blog. Now, I guess success is in the eye of the beholder and how you’re successful is no different, but, when I look through some really popular blogs….I’m always envious of how well they’ve done. And as I scroll through, while their content is good and so is the design I can’t help but wonder what’s so different about mine, you know? I have good content on my blogs. I have nice designs. So, how do they improve their blog so much? I know in some situations some bloggers will more or less “pay” to have their blogs exposed but not that many do that – so how do they get so popular? Well, it’s simple. You need to look at a marketing blog and see what you can do to better market your blog and youself as a blogger. There are so many simple and effective tools and tips that an email marketing blog can provide you to help you not only get your feet off of the blogging ground, but really expand your name and blog into a mini empire. Think of all the time you’ve invested in your blog…why not spend a fraction of that understanding how to improve your blog?

Need A Flea Killer
Written by admin on October 26, 2009
Ugh! So, it’s finally happened.
I picked up the puppies from the groomers today and she told me they had fleas. Thankfully, it wasn’t that bad…there weren’t that many but oh man, do they freak me out! So, I’m going to get me some flea killers now.
I can tell you what – in a matter of days, there will not be one living flea within 25 feet of this household. haha

In-Laws Need A Hotel
Written by admin on October 26, 2009
Well, earlier today I got some good news and I got some bad news. The funny thing is, they’re all related to one thing. My future in-laws…lol. Hopefully they don’t read this blog posting, huh? Hah, nah, just kidding – I love them! Anyway, they informed my girlfriend that they’re going to take a little trip and in the process they’re going to be come down here to the San Diego so they wanted to see us. Now, they’ve never really vacationed here so they asked us about san diego ca hotels and asked what we thought would be a nice one to stay at. They are gonna be here for a little while, so, we want to find them a nice one but one that’s also relatively cheap and on their budget as they’re going to be looking for a monterey hotel as well since they’ll be staying there for a week too. I’m thinking I might pack myself up in one of their suitcases before they leave here though cause Monterey is amazing. It’s seriously one of my most favorite places in the world. If you’ve never been, in all honesty, do go…at least one time. It’s really a hidden gem of the world.

Lake Elsinore Wetlands To Be Built
Written by admin on October 24, 2009
A key obstacle to Lake Elsinore moving forward with its elaborate plan for a boat launch and related improvements has been cleared with a federal agency’s issuance of a permit.
The Army Corps of Engineers has agreed to the city’s proposal to create about 11.5 acres of wetlands habitat on a small peninsula extending from the levee at the lake’s southeast corner to make up for loss of habitat resulting from the boat launch project on the northwest side.
The last loose end in the agreement was laced up last week with the City Council’s acceptance of the permit conditions, which establish requirements on how the habitat work will be done and require the city to permanently preserve the habitat.

My Kitchen Light Just Broke
Written by admin on October 24, 2009
Crap. That’s all that comes to mind. haha. Well, let me explain. As I was cooking dinner tonight, I went to turn on the kitchen light and when I did it stopped working. Like, it totally shorted out. So I went to change the lightbulb and the whole fixture just…broke. Right in my hands. So, it looks like I’m in the market now for some new kitchen lighting. I’m not really sure what I’m wanting…I figured I should actually buy something nice this go around…something that will last more than a few months. lol Hopefully it wont be too much of a dent on the pocket book!
