Furniture For A New Resident

Written by admin on October 24, 2009

So, does anybody remember how a few weeks back I talked about a good friend of mine who is moving to North Carolina for a while? It’s not a permanent move, but, he’s going to be there for a while. He figured before he left that rather than pay all of the moving fees and to move just a small amount of large things to North Carolina (such as his bed, etc) he’s going to look for a NC Furniture Outlet and see what he can find there. He said he’s going to look into Furniture Outlet World as he got some solid recommendations from some people he met, so, hopefully he finds a few pieces of furniture to spice his place up.

Massage Chairs For Stress

Written by admin on October 24, 2009

Stress – seriously, is there anything worse than it in life? And in all honesty, it’s no longer a matter of having a difficult job, etc…we all have some sort of stress. For whatever reason though, I’m guessing because we normally don’t see some type of physical evidence on the outside, we simply choose to ignore it. We think it’s okay. It’ll go away. Well, if you talk to any doctors or researchers…it doesn’t just go away. Stress builds up over time if it’s not treated and really can cause serious health issues, and I know this first hand. I got so stressed from nothing more than daily life and activities (just being busy) that I started having shortness of breath. I went to the doctor and he told me I just needed to relax more and suggested I look into some type of activity that will allow it. So, after talking to my family about it, I decided that it might be beneficial to look into some massage chairs. I remember when I was younger my Grandfather had one and I just loved it, as did he. I’d go run and sit in it and just melt away in the amazing sensations it gave. Little did I know at that age that it was also such a huge stress reliever.

I Love Free Things

Written by admin on October 22, 2009

Do you know what my favorite word is? Free. I love that word. Now, I know how the old saying goes – “nothing in life is free”…but really, that’s not true. There are lots of free things, you just need to know where to look. One thing a lot of companies do is give out  Free Product Samples to people like you and I. Why you ask? Well, for a variety of important reasons. One, they want to test out the products with we consumers. Second, it’s a great way to market their products. And last but not least, it’s a great way to get people to try products they normally wouldn’t use. But, the one big problem with this is where do you actually find these free products? I mean sure, I guess you could spend hours going through your phone book or spend a few more hours going through the internet trying to find random free products, but wouldn’t it be awesome if they were all in one place? Say, like, for example…FreeCatcher.com? Seriously, it’s one of the best sites on the entire internet. I love it. There are no tricky offers or anything like that. They simply hook you up with awesome free things, and it’s not always little samples. We’re talking legit, awesome, free things as well as samples. I love it!

Feel Like Saving Money!? I do!

Written by admin on October 20, 2009

I admit it. I love to save money. No seriously, I do. Now, I know what you’re thinking – no, I’m not one of those people that has 55 coupons in line at stores, trying to save 50 cents on everything but I do love a deal. And while there are a lot of good deals out in retail stores, the best deals I always find are online. Well, I should say, at least the actual deals are always online…you can then take the coupons to the store. I mean just tonight I was looking for a new shaver and I found an awesome Target.com coupon code that will save me a good 15 bucks on it. Not only that but they have a variety of other awesome coupons for instant savings, for free things, and even free shipping. I know a lot of people avoid buying things online because they think they have to pay shipping but so many companies do offer free shipping…you just need to know where to look to get the free coupon codes.

I also found a great deal from Best Buy on a laptop which gets me a free printer (a $120 dollar value) that I wouldn’t have got in the store, so, I am telling all of you – check out BestOnlineCoupons. You’ll be so happy you did.

Funny Car Insurance Story

Written by admin on October 20, 2009

So, a few minutes ago I was searching around the internet for some potential car insurance as I mentioned a few days ago I needed to look for a new provider and I found this gem:

When I left the car insurance office after getting my drivers license, I hit the lady that sold the policy to me 10 minutes earlier.

Okay – tell me that’s not flat hilarious, and honestly, so true. I don’t know why people take such risks when it comes to car insurance. People, it is not legal to drive around without it! Make sure you get yourself covered and make sure you do so with a good (and hopefully cheap) insurer.

What About A Travel Nurse?

Written by admin on October 20, 2009

Yesterday afternoon I was having a conversation with my Aunt, who is a registered nurse, and we were talking about the state of the economy, jobs, etc. We got on the topic of her job and she mentioned how it’s such a great job because it’s recession proof. Now, I never really put two and two together but she’s right. People don’t stop becoming sick…it’s something that’s always needed, so the job security is always there. However, she lives in a pretty small town and well, she wants to try something different so I told her about travel nursing and asked if she was interested. I told her she should look for some type of travel nursing companies and see if she could find a somewhat local travel nurse job. The great thing about these is, of course the travel, but more importantly because it’s specified and you’re specially trained you actually end up making a lot more money than you would working in a hospital or another establishment. In addition to that, the hours are much more flexible as is your schedule when compared to working at a hospital. Her schedule now is absurd, so, hopefully she looks into this…I think she’d love it.

A PsyhicPower.com reading?

Written by admin on October 19, 2009

So, it’s getting close to November…if you’re like me, you’ve already started your holiday shopping. Yes, I know, I tend to do it a little early but I a;ways have. I’ve been trying to think of something to get my Mother for Christmas and I came across PsychicPower.com in my endeavors.

For so many years I’ve always got her the same stuff…scrapbook and stamping stuff. I wanted so much to get her something different this year and then I remembered she has always wanted to look into getting a psyhic reading. Now, I’ve never got one but I looked around for some reviews and found that psychicpower.com has some really great reviews on the net.

I think she’d really enjoy a professional psyhic reading and I’m thinking I might actually get one for my girlfriend as well as myself. I mean, I think it’s pretty interesting, don’t you? They have quite the variety of items you can get as well as they have phone psychics, mediums, astrologers, tarot readers and love experts. Of course my girlfriend and I will have to get the love expert but I really think my Mom would enjoy talking to one of the psyhics or mediums. Hopefully she likes it! I’m so excited to get her something different this year!

Online Backup!

Written by admin on October 19, 2009

So, I have a question for you. Do you value your information on your computer? Have you ever thought about exchange online backup? I mean, just from a personal standpoint….think about all of the important documents you have on your computer. From personal and home videos to pictures to important documents (be them financial or what have you)…we all have a lot of important things we store on our computer. A problem that many of us have though is that we just assume they’re safe there. And while we all hope that’s the case, in reality, it’s not. Things happen. I’ve had a variety of problems in the past where my computers motherboard died and I lost everything I had on my computer. All of my family pictures. All of my important financial documents. A large amount of work related documents – they were all gone in the matter of a second. It’s really a feeling I wish on nobody, not even my worst enemy…so I suggest you do the proper and safe thing – back up your files! EBackItUp.com has a great and cheap service they use which digitally encrypts 448 bit military strength protection, so your data will safe and solid and you wont ever have to worry about losing your vital files.

Moving To Virginia?

Written by admin on October 18, 2009

Well, it’s safe to say that I’m not. I do have some sad news to report though that a really good friend of mine will be relocating to Virginia within the next few months. There is no definitive date set yet, but, he’s expecting to be deployed to a new army base after the Christmas holidays so he’s decided he needs to start looking for some arlington real estate since he’ll be located in that general area.

I told him I’d help him look since it’s going to be the first time he’s moved across country and doesn’t really have the means to actually go to Virginia and look. I suggested that we visit drodio.com and look for some real estate as I know from past experience they’re one of the leaders in real estate when it comes to the Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. areas. You can thank my brilliant girlfriend (who is from the area) for letting me know about that. I believe she said her parents actually found the house they’re currently living in using drodio.com as well and said the experience was great.

So, hopefully he’ll have as good of luck as my future in-laws had looking for real estate in the Virginia area.
