Second Round Of Swine Flu Vacine Here
Written by admin on October 24, 2009
Mounting concern over swine flu outbreaks and anxiety about the future availability of vaccines prompted thousands of residents to line up at public health clinics around the county Saturday.
The 23,000 doses available at the immunization clinics this weekend are for: children and young adults through age 24; health care workers; pregnant women; and those with chronic health issues.
About 78,000 additional doses went to hospitals, clinics and first responders.
The clinics are set to continue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at seven locations across the county.
