A SAP Report

So, when I started my at home, small business a couple years ago…I really didn’t need anything fancy. I didn’t need any other persons help…I didn’t need any fancy machines or services to help me out. Boy, how that changes. One man can only do so many things, you know?

Anyway, back on point. For whatever reason (I guess I’m a gluten for punishment), for years I’ve done any and all data extraction by hand. Yea, I can see you looking at me weird, wondering why I’ve done that. I can’t figure it out either. I guess I believed that a lot of data extraction was expensive and I thought all the time I spent doing it would be worth it. Guess what? I was wrong. haha. Now I’ve been looking into getting a SAP report on my data and the prices are actually really reasonable. I kinda feel stupid for wasting all the time I did thinking the service would be over-priced. I guess you never know until you look, eh? Well, at least I know now.

Help Moving?

So, I’m thinking about buying an apartment up in the central coast area of California. I grew up in that area and would just love to have a place up there where I could go visit from time to time. But, in this economy, every penny saved helped so I’m thinking if I go through with it I’m going to use U-Pack to help move my stuff. I looked into some “typical” moving companies and the prices were just asinine. So, I’m thinking with the dish pack from U-Pack, I’ll be able to save a few thousand dollars (easy) and put that towards some new furniture for the apartment. A win, win, situation.

Presents. I love presents. Gifts. Whatever you want to call them…haha. There is just something about getting a gift/present from somebody as a thank you (or for a special occassion) that makes you perk up and smile. Now, you’re most likely wondering why I’m on this little tingent. That my friends is because I just got two wonderful gift baskets from a client that I helped out yesterday. One of them is filled with chocolates and other candy (YUM!) and the other is filled with some cheeses and crackers, two of my favorite things.They’re really nice looking and I’ve already dug into the chocolate one – tastes yummy!

Going To The Beach For The 4th

What are your plans? I’m heading down to the beach tomorrow with some family. I have to admit, I’m pretty lucky to live just a few miles from the coast. I haven’t seen my niece in a few months so I figured I’d get her a presents. I know she’s a big fan of Roxy Clothing so I’m going to pick her up a few shirts I think. A happy 4th of July present. ha

Old Man’s Birthday Approaching

You know what I’ve noticed? That my Grandfather and Father are extremely difficult to buy for. They each seem to have one hobby, golf for my grandfather and racing for my father – but that’s it. It’s like the only thing they like to do. So, I always end up buying them respective merchandise for their hobbies but I think I’ve pretty much bought them everything possible when it comes to that kinda junk.

So, yesterday I was thinking about what to get my Dad for his birthday. This past Christmas I got my Grandfather a watch which he just loved. Then I remembered my Dad commenting on the watch, so, I’m thinking why not get him one? He’s got a different taste from my Grandfather, so, I was thinking Dad would prefer the traser h3 watch which I found at Blue Dial. It’s much more of his style.

I think it’ll be a great birthday present for him. He’s always in need of a watch…trust me, I know. He constantly asks me what time/date it is. So, maybe this is as much a present for my sanity than it is for him, huh? haha

Summer Is Here Baby!

Though, you couldn’t tell by the ugly skies above. That’s okay though – I’m ready to do my annual amusement part adventure. This year I’ll be starting off with a ride on the Ghost Ship at Morey’s Piers. I’ve never been before, but, I’ve heard about it from friends and seen it on TV – looks freakin awesome. This is by far my favorite part of the year, other than Christmas.

Problems Seeing

You know what’s really funny? Back when I was about, oh, 12 or 13 I took my first trip to an eye doctor. Once all was said and done, he told me I had some of the best eyesight he’d ever seen. So, come about twelve years later I go back and come to find out, I have a stigma. It’s nothing major, but, I could sense for a while that sometimes some things far away would blur a bit. Anyway, he wrote me a prescription (he told me I really didn’t need it, per say)…but if I didn’t get it, over time it would just get worse. So anyway, off to the front of the office I went to look for some glasses and frames. Holy cow – I didn’t know they were THAT much money…are you kidding me? Then I remembered my Mother telling me about Zenni and their awesome frames. She had purchased some a while back and just raved about them so, I had to give them a try. I even did a bit of research on my own and came across this great info on their eyeglasses at the Optiboard – made me feel super confident in my choice.

Have You Checked Out Club Penguin?

Okay, so the other day I’m surfing the net and I come across Club Penguin. After a little investigating, I’ve come to the conclusion that this place rocks! It’s a really cool, virtual world that’s SAFE for all ages. So I started looking for some additional information/cheats/tips, etc and when I did, I noticed you can get a club penguin membership for free, just by signing up. They’re having a competition ongoing right now as we speak which is giving away memberships – so check it out.

I Love Pods

Okay, seriously, you know those moving pods – you see commercials for them on TV all the time, you know, like U-Pack. I just absolutely love the things. I used one before when I moved, but, people don’t realize how handy they are for non-moving situations. Say for example, when I had to have the house sprayed for termites, I just moved all of the items into the pods. It makes life so much easier. And they’re cheap too!! Look at the recent pod rates. You can’t do better than that.
