A New Domain Name?

I’m really starting to get into the whole blogging thing so I’m thinking of expanding my blogging empire, lol. I have a few ideas in mind for the type of blogs I want to build, but, I need to find the right domain to use with the site, you know? I don’t want some blog that’s completely different from it’s domain name – I’ve never understood why people do that. So, I guess my first item of business is to search domain name or should I say, search domain names for the style of blog I want to build. I think my first blog will be a teach blog followed by a sports blog.

A Late Xmas Furniture Gift

Ever since I was about 20 (which wasn’t that long ago…haha) I’ve always bought myself a phantom Christmas present, if you will. In short, it’s just a way to excuse myself for buying something I want…haha. This year, I’m looking into some new rustic furniture. I’ve been needing a new loveseat or chair in my office but I wanted a bit of a rustic look to match the rooms decor. My only problem is…what do I get? The loveseat? The chair? Knowing me, I’ll probably buy both…haha

Who Needs A Lawyer?

You know the old saying, “stuff happens”? Well, unfortunately, sometimes stuff happens – it’s just the way of life. Take for example my good buddy Aaron. He went to the beach with a couple of his friends to go surfing and before long, one of the guys he went with gets intoxicated. Scan forward a few hours and he’s in a fight with another guy which then turns into a mini brawl. My friend Aaron, simply trying to break up the situation, gets drilled in the head by a punch and a melee insues. He was simply trying to protect himself and his friend, but in his attempts, he gets hit in the head and face AND gets charges pressed on him. Amazing, right?! These are the times when one needs a White Collar Crime Lawyer to get them out of undeserved issues. I’m going to help him out and try to find him a bull dog lawyer. Poor guy.

A New Sink For Me?

I’m going to admit it – I know very little about undermount kitchen sinks. I’m not the most handy guy around, I mostly just pay a repair man or an installer and get things fixed up. Anyway, my Mother just got a brand new undermount kitchen sink installed about three or four months ago and after I used it, I fell in love with it so I’m looking to get a new one for myself. I’ve been on a mission to find a low priced, high quality, sink from an extremely recommended and trusted business. After much research, I think I’ve settled on Mr. Direct as I love they’re BBB accredited. Can’t beat that!

Starting A New Business?

Well, I’m not starting a new business per say, but I am starting a new website. Now, if all goes as planned, it’ll eventually turn into a business (it’s selling specialized sport t-shirts) but one of the first things I need to do is create a logo. I however, and worthless with graphics and trying to think of something to use. So, I think my best option will be to use a Logo Design Company to help me out. I know some buddies of mine have used this type of service before and it turned out awesome, so, I’ll try my hand in it I think.

Saving Money At Xmas With Coupons

You know, it’s holiday time and that means one thing – buying gifts. Now, I tend to overbuy (hey, I like doing it)…but I’m always doing my best to find some ways to save money. One of the two ways I do it is to find a sale OR find a coupon code online. For example, I’m looking for a new frame for my mother’s glasses so I decided I’d go look for a frames direct coupon and to my luck, I found one. Actually, I found a couple. I might actually buy myself one as well….we can be styin’ together, eh? haha

My Pre-Xmas Vacation

Well, I shouldn’t say vacation I guess since I will be working. Anyway, I’m going to be staying up at a family lake house (as I normally do) on my annual pre Christmas vacation. It’s something I’ve done for a few years and I guess I’m making it somewhat of a tradition. Anyway, the problem with the house (beautiful as it is)…is that there is no internet access. I know, right? So, I’m going to get wild blue high speed internet installed up there so I can work away on my “vacation”. Haha, seriously though, I do take some time off to enjoy the scenery so it’s not like I’m working all the time when I’m there. Plus, it’s out in the middle of no place…so the internet is going to be my only friend. haha

What About A Christmas Clock?

So, I’ve been racking my brain lately trying to figure out a gift for my grandparents. They don’t do much, other than travel and play golf, and well…I get them a present associated with one of those activities EVERY year…even for their birthdays. So, I wanted to switch it up this year. I thought about getting them a really pretty clock for their living room. I pressed my Grandmother on it a few weeks back and she mentioned her love of Howard Miller clocks, so, I think I’ll take the plunge and get them one this year. They actually had one (well, were given one) when my Grandfather retired but that’s been quite some time ago. They totally need a new one. I hope they like it!

Time To Date?

You know what sucks? The local dating scene. I don’t know why, but, I just can’t find anybody local that is worth my time. I know that sounds a bit condescending but it’s true. Why waste my time or theirs? Doesn’t make a lot of sense either way.

Anyway, with the holidays coming up, etc…I don’t have a lot of time to be dating anyway…so maybe I’ll give it a rest until the new year.

Eye Glasses As A Present? Why Not!?

So I’ve been thinking of treating myself this holiday season and picking up some prescription eye glasses. I know, I know…eye glasses aren’t maybe the first thing you think of when it comes to gifts for yourself, but, have you seen the prices of eye glasses from your doctor? It’s like, holy moly. The other day I saw a pair he recommended to me for like 400 dollars. 400 dollars! Are you kidding me!? What’s so special about them? It’s insane. There is nothing better about those than a 10 or 20 dollar pair. Sillyness.
