Some people spend huge money on material things as a gift for their loved ones. Nothing’s wrong with that, especially if you have the money and you earned it the right way.
To substitute love with shiny objects, however, is a fool’s game. Nothing can replace genuine love.
Love is an act. Not a token.
If you don’t have the money to gift your loved ones for the holidays, pour your love on them by making them feel they are your priority and they are important.
And if you don’t have the money to gift your child or friend a valuable item on their wedding day or birthday or any special occasion, gift them your love by spending quality time with them. That is priceless.
Imagine if human beings gift love every day.
It’s worth a try.
